The Secret Armory of General Knoxx

Borderlands is one of the game that I enjoyed most since its release last year and Gearbox has consistently pushing out new dlc's to make me keep coming back to it. The last two dlc's were a mix of good and bad, but I'm happy to say that the third and latest dlc is everything that it needed to be.

Weighing at a hefty 1.68gb, this is by far the biggest dlc offered for the game. Accordingly, it packs a substantial amount of content including an increased level-cap to up to 61, more loots, a new rarity class for items, and of course a whole bunch of new quests. And quests, there will be plenty this time around.

The new enemies in particular could potentially change the way you play this game. You'll be facing jetpack wielding lance soldiers to skang riding midgets to agile female ninjas, to name a few. That's how varied the new enemies types are. Make no mistake, this dlc ain't no pushover. If you're planning to play this add-on on the second play through all by yourself, be prepared to die. A lot. I did even with my ultra powerful level 50 siren.

To add to the replay value, there is an uber powerful secret boss that players may challenge as many times as they want for a chance to get that super illusive pearlescent grade weapons, the new grade introduced with this dlc. Be warned that you may need some help from a partner or two to face this new threat.

All told, this is a super satisfying dlc and the sweetest part of the deal is its price of 800points (roughly RM 35) which is a very generous price point for what is a really big add-on to the game.
